MARK WELCH

Mark's early career experience in advertising, sales and general marketing allowed him to grasp the potential of technology when he embraced the PC revolution during the very early stages of networking computers. Even at this very early stage Mark had a vision for the way in which businesses could use technology to help differentiate and improve the way in which they communicate, compete, transact and evolve. 

With the advent of the biggest network of all – the Internet –Mark has been helping companies to interrogate their corporate strategies in the context of the web and supporting these businesses in leveraging the benefits, and avoiding the pitfalls, presented by the digital age. 

Mark's driving principle is that technology is a means to an end, not the end in itself. Retaining a bird's eye view on technology, without becoming swamped by enthusiasm for the latest new thing is one of Mark's key strengths.  

Mark's greatest satisfaction is seeing projects through from the evolution of initial ideas, through development and implementation to the delivery of value to clients and their customers.

FAY DAVEY

Fay Davey is a fine art graduate of the leading art school Goldsmiths College, and has a passionate interest in contemporary visual culture and design.

Fay began her career working in the art world but has been designing and constructing websites and printed brochures since 1999.

Fay approaches every brief with an open mind and this allows for free thinking and the creation of a unique solution, specifically tailored to the client's needs.

The importance of initial discussions is paramount and Fay will invariably designate a considerable amount of time at the beginning of any project to listen to the specific needs and aspirations of the client and their customers.

As with all design, the most successful solutions are simple, memorable and easy for the customer to engage with. No element of a web page design is left unconsidered for its visual and practical purpose. Using these guidelines, Fay's websites are fresh, original and very easy to navigate.

JOHN BEARDON

John has had a career in the IT arena for over 15 years. He initially trained as a database developer for the UK Hydrographic Office, but quickly progressed into the design, installation and maintenance of networks for the business sector. John has also held senior IT management positions in large organisations such as Adaytum Financial Planning (now part of Cognos) and First Choice Holidays.

During his whole career, John has been involved with internet development and now uses his extensive knowledge to focus on the development of cost effective online store solutions and content managed web sites.

John retains the strong belief that all aspects of IT and the internet can form important business tools and is particularly enthused when he is able to facilitate a shift in business attitudes from "why do we need it?" to "how did we cope without it?".

JON WAREING

With twenty years of business experience, Jon coaches corporate executives, middle managers, small business owners and professionals in private practice to develop a culture of continual performance improvement in their businesses. 

Integrating principles of behavioural science, sports psychology, customer focus, business acumen and common sense with warmth, energy and enthusiasm, he assists his clients in creating fulfilling personal and business lives. 

Jon's focus is helping other businesses to raise the performance of their people. Specifically to develop more effective communication and collaboration, and to create organisations which attract and retain talented people whilst attracting customers in equal measure. 

Jon has a particular passion for enabling others to see, understand and influence the total expression of an organisation towards its customers and developing this into a compelling strategy for growth. DAVID WHITING

David gained extensive marketing and business experience from working for a number of large household name companies over many years. Whilst working for these companies, he was responsible for the profitable development of a number of major brands in a wide range of markets.

Since 1988 David has been working in business and marketing consulting and training, helping a range of organizations both large and small in the private and public sectors.

David holds a firm belief that business success comes from understanding, anticipating and responding to the needs of customers.  He enjoys demonstrating to clients how listening to, and understanding the needs of customers, and developing appropriate strategies invariably leads to greater success.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Chartered Marketer and a Certified Management Consultant.

MALCOM MCGREGOR

After 10 years in high street banking followed by 10 years of merchant banking at managerial level, Malcolm set up an import finance house for a US based company, and then set up his own export finance house trading mainly into East Africa.  

After leaving the City, Malcolm set up his consultancy advising clients on strategic business planning with particular reference to the financial needs of their businesses by drawing upon his extensive knowledge of clearing and merchant banking, importing, exporting and property finance. Whilst retaining this core business, his consultancy has expanded into board and senior management mentoring, corporate recovery and restructuring. 

Malcolm has a sound technical background, is widely networked and possesses a breadth of practical experience in most aspects of corporate finance. He is an Associate of the Institute of Bankers, a Member of the Institute of Export and an Accredited Business Counsellor.
